definition of self-introfuction

Self-introduction is describing about yourself: where are you from, your hobbies, your outlook of life. Example:
"My name is Rizieq Tjahaja Purnama, you may call me Zizik. My hometown is Reykjavik, Iceland. Like other normal humans I do have hobbies and they are ice hockey, pulling ice sleds, making ice cream. My viewpoint about the future is that if the earth is really flat, I assume that the end of the world is still far, far, away."
